have combined resources and expertise to develop the DepthWaveTM Slag Measurement System.
The
core of the DepthWave System is a non-contact automated tool for measuring freeboard and
slag thickness in steel transfer ladles.
This innovative tool combined with other process information and optional proprietary
software yields a system capable of complete slag management.
Use DepthWave to determine ladle freeboard and slag volume and minimize your error in
flux additions.

DepthWave can be installed either 'stand alone' or interfaced to
your PLC for one button freeboard and slag thickness measurement .
Uncontrolled high concentration of FeO in the slag is a leading
cause of nozzle clogging, alloy fade, and spinel formation. Use DepthWave's slag
management option to determine the proper flux quantity to minimize FeO in your slag.
